Kenya: GDC Targets 800 MW for Baringo Phase One

Geothermal Development Company is looking to produce 3,000 MW of the estimated 10,000 MW of potential geothermal capacity at the Bogoria and Baringo lake sites. Chairman Simon Gicharu spoke about the plans at the Kenya School of Government in Kabarnet, Baringo county, saying 800 MW capacity is targeted for phase one. AllAfrica.com
